Governor Ron DeSantis Reappoints Michael La Rosa to the Florida Public Service Commission

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Michael La Rosa to the Florida Public Service Commission. This appointment is effective January 2, 2025.

Michael La Rosa
La Rosa, of Saint Cloud, has been a Commissioner on the Florida Public Service Commission since 2020. He currently serves as a Founding Partner and Vice President of La Rosa Development and the Co-Founder of La Rosa Realty. Previously, he was elected as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 42. A current member of the Florida Virtual Schools Foundation Board of Directors, La Rosa earned his bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from the University of Central Florida. 

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
