STATEMENT BY: FMEA Executive Director Regarding Public Power Restoration Following Hurricane Debby

“In less than 36 hours since landfall, Florida public power utilities have restored power to nearly all customers impacted by Hurricane Debby. FMEA member utilities have restored more than 80,000 customer outages from Hurricane Debby, with more than 99.9 percent of all public power customers currently receiving power. Florida’s public power utilities will continue to work around the clock to restore the remaining customers.”
