OUC Announces Leadership Changes: Luz Aviles and Jenise Osani Take on New Roles
Strategic Appointments to Drive Innovation and Customer Engagement
Luz Aviles has been appointed Vice President of Marketing and New Products and Jenise Osani has been appointed Vice President of Customer Experience & Sales for the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC—The Reliable One), effective April 1.
“We are excited for Luz and Jenise to step into these key roles at OUC,” said Linda Ferrone, Chief Customer & Marketing Officer. “Their leadership, experience, and commitment to excellence will help drive our mission forward and enhance our services for customers.”
Aviles will oversee all corporate relations, including communications, media relations, customer education, advertising, marketing, and community relations. She will lead the development of new products that generate additional revenue streams for OUC. A 30-year utility veteran, Aviles began her OUC career in 1994. For the past eight years, she has served as Vice President of Customer Experience & Sales. Aviles holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. She is actively involved in community organizations, including serving on the board of directors for Prospera, and the Orlando Family Stage board.
As Vice President of Customer Experience & Sales, Osani will focus on revenue generation and growth while maintaining OUC’s commitment to sustainability and exceptional customer service. She joined OUC in 2009 and most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and New Products for five years. Osani earned a bachelor’s in graphic design from the University of Florida and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. She serves on the board of directors for Breakthrough T1D and the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, and on the executive committee for the Orlando Science Center Board of Trustees.
