FPUA Prepares for Hurricane Milton

FPUA logoHurricane Milton Strengthens to a Category 4 Hurricane with 145 MPH Winds

The National Hurricane Center reported that Hurricane Milton has strengthened to a Category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds of 145 miles per hour. FPUA has prepared our facilities and systems for the storm and impacts we may experience. Additionally, through the Florida Municipal Electric Association, FPUA has activated Mutual Aid Assistance for additional crews if required to assist with restoration.

Medical Seal customers: The Havert L. Fenn Center in Fort Pierce is designated as the Special Needs shelter. Medical Seal customers can register for the Special Needs Shelter on the St. Lucie County website.
