Organization Overview

The Energy Authority (TEA) was created by public power to serve public power and has provided energy trading and risk management services to its clients since 1997. As the energy market has evolved over time, TEA has remained focused on its mission of helping clients provide reliable, low-cost power to their customers. Today, TEA services have expanded to include advanced analytics, renewable solutions, and advisory services. With the nationwide push towards renewable energy causing unpredictability and volatility in the market, TEA’s clients have leaned on TEA's deep industry knowledge to help them continue to stay competitive in the market. Using data-driven insights from their own proprietary technology, TEA is able to inform and assist utilities in re-structuring their rates to satisfy the utility as well as their customers.
