FMEA’s Legislative Rally is one of the most effective ways for you to meet and lobby your state legislators on electric utility issues. With legislation pending that affects all FMEA members, and with a significant financial impact, it is important for every utility to be represented at the Rally.
Please make appointments with legislators in advance of the Rally. Legislative committees are not scheduled far in advance, so their staff may not want to schedule your appointment until a week or two prior.
Go to www.leg.state.fl.us for contact information on your legislator.
Who Should Attend?
General managers and CEOs, elected and appointed city utility officials and governing board members, government relations employees, and legal staff of public power utilities.
