About the Roundtable

Effective, timely communication before, during and after times of disaster is a huge part of our role as utility communicators. With the beginning of the 2019 Hurricane Season right around the corner, it only seemed fitting to hold this Roundtable in conjunction with the FMEA-FMPA Hurricane and Emergency Preparedness Forum the following day.

The Hurricane Forum features a breakout session focused on customer service, communications and community outreach, as well as two separate operational breakouts. We invite you to join us for the Hurricane Forum in addition to the Communicators Roundtable, as the discussion there, particularly in the customer service breakout, tends to overlap with or complement communications functions.
