The Florida Municipal Electric Association is pleased to partner with host JEA to offer an inaugural roundtable for Florida's public power emergency management personnel. 

Meeting Agenda:

  • Tour of JEA Emergency Operations Center
  • Discussion of key issues below
  • Roundtable discussion of additional topics as suggested by attendees

Key Discussion Topics: 

  • ICS utilization and structure
  • Business continuity planning for emergencies
  • Hazard preparedness for weather and non-weather events
  • Building vital partnerships with local agencies
  • Resource management metrics and supply chain mitigation
  • Leveraging technology for mutual aid and incident tracking
  • Emergency management training, workshops, and after-action reviews

Who Should Attend?

This meeting is open to all FMEA municipal members including:

  • Emergency management/preparedness directors, managers, planners,
  • Incident response teams,
  • Resource management professionals,
  • Business continuity directors, coordinators, and analysts.

Lunch will be provided; please ensure all attendees from your utility are registered for catering purposes.
