The Florida Municipal Electric Association is pleased to partner with host JEA to offer an inaugural roundtable for Florida's public power emergency management personnel.
Meeting Agenda:
- Tour of JEA Emergency Operations Center
- Discussion of key issues below
- Roundtable discussion of additional topics as suggested by attendees
Key Discussion Topics:
- ICS utilization and structure
- Business continuity planning for emergencies
- Hazard preparedness for weather and non-weather events
- Building vital partnerships with local agencies
- Resource management metrics and supply chain mitigation
- Leveraging technology for mutual aid and incident tracking
- Emergency management training, workshops, and after-action reviews
Who Should Attend?
This meeting is open to all FMEA municipal members including:
- Emergency management/preparedness directors, managers, planners,
- Incident response teams,
- Resource management professionals,
- Business continuity directors, coordinators, and analysts.
